Adam Levine paid tribute to the late Christina Grimmie during the Voice on Tuesday night while also announcing the 'Christina Grimmie Foundation'.
Christina Grimmie was the Voice season six alum and was tragically shot and killed last June at her own concert. Adam Levine gave a moving performance of the Beatles' "Hey Jude".Christina's parents along with her brother, Mark, were in the audience as Adam remembered the beautiful soul that was Christina, saying " God, I loved her so much. It is unfair that she is not here.Thank you for being here. Christina, we love you".
Adam, along with Carson Daily also helped announce the Christina Grimmie Foundation which will benefit those impacted by gun violence and families just like her own, while also giving support to those with Breast Cancer. Carson continued to say, "Thank you for letting us be a part of this very important moment, and Christina, we feel your spirit here at the Voice every single day and we love and miss you dearly."
Fans can still enjoy her music to this day. Her new EP titled Side B is available on iTunes now. A full album of Christina's music will be released on June 2.
