Information reaching Annie's blog from its sources reveals that a Final Year FUTO student attempted suicide yesterday being 22nd April, 2015.
Sydney Prince, an undergraduate student of FUTO currently studying Materials and Metallurgical Engineering jumped into the Otamiri River inside the Campus Area in an attempt to end his Life.
An eye witness revealed that while she was doing her morning exercise with her friends at the River bank, Sydney was at seen making phone calls and crying. The group ignored him and continued their exercise, after 20-30 minutes, he Jumped into the river and that was when he started screaming for help.
He was unconscious when rescued and rushed to the hospital. Rescuers believe he's still alive but requires medical attention
An anonymous source close to the victim reported that ' The school had refused to graduate him as he had a lot of carryovers and problems. And as the former leader of the Man O war group, all allowances in the past year have been withheld.
Some spectators claim he accidentally fell into the river, some say he purposely attempted suicide. Sydney Prince is no stranger to the students of the school as he held the Chief in Command Post of the Man 'o' war FUTO command.
Let's not forget that the school had recently demanded that every student pay a fee of #12,500 for damages done during a protest in a bid to reduce school fees and other unnecessary charges, Could this be one of the reasons for the alleged suicide attempt?
we wish Sydney Prince a fast and speedy recovery and we expect a detailed explanation to this tragedic event

I'll soon give true account of 2015 election - Jonathan

Former President Goodluck Jonathan has dismissed claims by respondents in a book written by the Chairman of the Editorial Board of ThisDay, Mr. Segun Adeniyi. He said, “I have just read Segun Adeniyi’s new book, ‘Against the Run of Play’ which has so far enjoyed tremendous reviews in the media. My take on it is that the book as presented, contains many distorted claims on the 2015 presidential election by many of the respondents “There will obviously be more books like that on this subject by concerned Nigerians. However, I believe that at the right time, the main characters in the election including myself will come out with a true account of what transpired either in major interviews or books.” Among respondents in the book are f

Pietro Boselli has come under fire for using a friend as a workout equipment in a nearly 3-minute clip that he said they made just for fun. In what looked like a scripted video set on an unnamed island in the country, Boselli talks to the camera and says he was looking for a training tool he can “actually lift repeatedly for exercise.” He settles for a “Filipino man,” whom he calls “ideal.” Subsequent scenes show Boselli chasing the man around the beach and hoisting him a number of times as if he were weights. He would later  clarify  to the Telegraph that the man was his friend, Danel.  The image didn’t sit well with many people. Krishna Omkar, whose reaction to Boselli’s video drew one of the most likes on Facebook, called t
